Job Description

  • Sales Development Representative Venture Handle Bangalore 
  • Drive Venture Handle growth as part of the Business Development team.
  • The Venture Handle Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate interest in Venture Handle and drive prospects to demo. 
  • Specifically, this role blends high-intellect web prospecting with sophisticated outbound phone / email communication. 
  • While the SDR is an entry-level sales position, it is a critical component of the Venture Handle sales pod. 
  • As such, SDRs have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by more seasoned enterprise sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting for new clients via both phone calls and emails at high volume with an eye toward exceeding expectations.
  • Proactively seeking out new potential client accounts and making first contact with those accounts to generate interest.
  • Handling the entire sales cycle (lead identification/qualification to closure) in the designated territory.
  • Executing sales strategy and expanding customer base by scouting leads, prospecting,conducting demos, negotiations & closures.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Shall help in developing proposals/business case/presentations to the clients, pitching in for the expected research content by the clients, based on your experience.
  • Maximize revenues from the same accounts by delivering the most expected content, and cross selling and upselling. Required Experience and 
Qualifications:
  • Post Graduate/MBA plus BA/BSc/BE degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • Less than 1-5 years of sales experience, with a history of overachieving targets, in new business acquisition.
  • Strong communication skills over both phone and email.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
