Sales Engineers Typically Do the Following:

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
  • Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
  • Help clients solve problems with installation
  • Gathering New Requirements from Customers
  • Gathering Market Information and Representing Company at Trade shows
  • Generate Sales/Market Reports
  • 2-5 Years of Experience in the above-mentioned Qualifications.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Travel Across the Sales Territory.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Engineering Degree along with MBA a plus
  • Any Bachelors, good Communication Skills and Analytical Aptitude ( certification in the area would be okay )
  • Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Selling to Customer Needs, Software Requirements, Product Development, Presentation Skills, General Programming Skills, Technical Understanding, Verbal Communication, Requirements Analysis, Innovation
Added Qualities:
  • Social Media,Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Digital Media, Online Marketing Developing Product Newsletters
  • Experience in Health Care Industry a Plus.
