JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - SALES EXECUTIVE

• Greet & meet customers on arrival at the store.
• Listens attentively to a customer’s needs.
• Presents the customer with the needed jewellery and provides information, such as pricing, and gives a discount if need be.
• Suggest additional products in a bid to meet the company’s and self-sales targets.
• Assist customers in making decisions regarding suitable purchases based on their specific likes.
• Explain warranties and guarantees on each piece purchased by a customer.
• Helps customers to wrap and bag their purchases.
• Oversee wrapping or bagging of purchased items to ensure that they met the store’s standards and the specific instructions of customers.
• Ensures all documents relating to the purchase of any jewellery are also bagged with the goods purchased.
• Provides pricing information to the cashier alongside the weight of the items purchased.
• Helps to facilitate payments after every purchase.
• Make cold calls to new customers in a bid to prospect them for business and meet sales goals.
• Call existing customers to provide them with information on new products or discount options.
• Create sales reports, detailing all transactions made in a day for the purpose of informing the management of individual sales progress.
• Update customer records in the company database as required.
• Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time.
• Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate concerned manager immediately.
• Ensure that all pieces of jewellery are returned to their secured places after the day’s business.
• Ensures regular increase in sales of jewellery products.
• Achieves goals set by the employer.
• Fill-up Daily Report Form & other important sheets on a daily basis.
• As n when required do Field Visit.

Job Requirements :

• Basic Knowledge of Excel, Word.

• Open for new opportunities.

• Must be able to maintain a high level of decorum while handling customers.

• Must be able to convince hesitant customers to make a purchase.

• Excellent follow-up skills.

Job Details

• Timing - 10 am to 7 pm

• Working days - Monday to Saturday

• Location -  Chandni Chowk

• Salary - 10,000 - 15,000 p.m.(negotiable)

• Min. Exp. - 1 yr.
