Job Description
The primary role of Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, using social media (LinkedIn), participating in industry forums and through other means of generating interest from potential clients.
Due to the highly technical nature of the offering, the Business Development Manager needs to possess a thorough knowledge of the services we offer, our customer's value chain, consumer needs and our value offering as compared to our competitor's solutions and services.
The position will provide direct access to the founders of Veratech and will be based in Delhi/ Mumbai but focusing on prospects throughout the country.
Primary Responsibilities:-
• Identifying new sales leads (Raw Leads will be provided by Veratech itself)
• Pitching products and/or services
• Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
Market:-
• Financial Institutions (Banks & NBFCs)
• Auditor Firms (Chartered Accountant)
• Compliance Firms (Company Secretaries)
• Consultancy Firms for Private Equity, M&A, Risk Advisory and allied sectors(Including Big4)
• Law Firms
Eligibility Criteria:-
• Minimum of 1 Year Experience of Business Development for a SaaS Product in any of the sectors described above in market
• Graduate with excellent communication skills. Candidates with a degree in Law, Commerce/Finance and Professional Qualification such as CA/CS will be preferred.
