Job Summary

Targray is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join its growing Battery business, which supplies materials and equipment to lithium-ion battery manufacturers and energy storage companies in over 50 countries. We are looking for a B2B sales executive with experience leading a sales team in a high-growth industry sector. The candidate will be responsible for battery material sales to major clients in India and internationally.

This position will be home-office based until the reopening of Targray India offices in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing sales strategies and year-over-year sales plans divided into monthly, quarterly and annual performance.
  • Managing the India battery sales team; Driving sales, business development and performance.
  • Personally developing business through prospecting and pitching to client organizations identified in the course of strategic planning.
  • Managing the entire sales life cycle, from prospecting, pitching, offering, negotiating and closing new contracts, to ensuring the continued satisfaction of existing customers.
  • Developing business insights, product offerings and pricing strategies through analysis of relevant competitor and customer data.
  • Ensuring adherence to the defined sales processes through collaborations with our Operations, Customer service and Finance teams.
  • Monitoring market trends to capitalize on trading opportunities.
Requirements
  • University degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering considered an asset.
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) considered an asset.
  • 7-15 years' experience in sales, with a minimum of 3 years managing a sales team.
  • Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery market considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel domestically and / or internationally if required.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members on a remote basis.
