Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is to develop and lead the sales force to achieve the company’s sales objectives by executing sales and marketing activities tailed to the India market.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of ten 5 - 8 years of demonstrated success in sales and marketing with a track record of increasing responsibilities. IT cabling industry experience a plus.
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to establish and communicate plans and priorities and to organize and manage resources to achieve goals.
- Strong presentation skills
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct business fluently in English language
- Ability to travel up to 50%; ability to work outside of normal business hours
- Ability to manage multiple separate administrative functions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for business development of assigned lines across India.
- Should have good working relations with customers in Consumer Electronics, Defence, Telecom, Automobile , Medical and EMS
- Maintains relationships with existing customers by identifying needs, providing solutions, support, information, and guidance. Build new customers based on the strategic planning.
- Identifies business opportunities by prospecting and evaluating their position in the industry researching and analysing sales options. Strategic planning on focused segments and markets.
- Identify the project, suggest the right products, provide the presentation to enable the customers to understand better on the products suggested with Advantages, Provide the required Technical data, Development tools and the initial price info.
- Track the project and its progress. Provide the required additional resources and technical support as and when required .On completion of the Proto, Pilot, take the project to the next level for Mass production.
- Handling a team of PDE’s . Provide them the required training and follow up with the guidance to handle the design activity for new DESING IN/WIN. Review the performance of the individuals with respect to the design revenues, Creating the new opportunities. Provide the required Technical / Samples support.
- Preparation of quotations for the customers. Follow up for orders and support to customer till dispatch of material.
- Identify industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Play key roll to execute Sales Promotions & Brand building activities
- Conduct high level meetings with the suppliers on the business strategies, quarterly reviews, yearly budget reviews and Price negotiation. Maintaining of contracts with Vendors and negotiating to add new vendors in Area of assigned Products.
