Job Description
- Build effective relationships across the organization to help achieve all process improvements and completion of projects.
- Lead the development and training of new employees as the department grows.
- Responsible for communicating updates, progress and issues to the Executive Sales Director.
- Identify and establish relationships for customs clearance and compliance.
- Travel as needed for customer & carrier meetings.
- Successfully achieve department goals while leading by TQL’s Winning Principles.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience working for a licensed Freight Forwarder in a similar role.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others.
- Must exhibit strong sense of integrity in daily business practices.
- On call, receiving calls from carriers, clients, prospects and TL LAEs 24/7/365.
- Confident decision maker.
- Leads by example.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
