About Company
Sportism is a young dynamic startup which is passionate about changing how sports is taught and experienced and is committed to grass root level changes in sports training and education for children in the age group pf 3-14 years. Our deeply researched curriculum adapts established sports training theories which include long term athlete development model (LTAD) and fundamental movement skills (FMS) to Indian standards and delivers a fun-filled holistic approach to children. Our programs are age specific, tailor made and focus on identifying the right set of sports for every child. We believe that the right sports training at a young age helps children become active for life. We believe that Sports… is the way of life.
What do we do
After a lot of research, we realised fundamental movement skills are not given due attention in the process of putting children into sports. This often results in us not identifying the true potential and interest of children. Proper assessment, exposure to various sports, introduction to age appropriate skills is the key to identifying talent at an early age. Sport must be seen as a route to overall development rather than as an isolated physical activity. Early stage intervention not only helps the child develop holistically, but also lays the foundation to lifelong health & fitness.
