Job Description
- Develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy and customer account and actions plans to achieve sales targets for the region. Use effective Opportunity Management / Account Management strategies to ensure goals are achieved and financial targets are met.
- Expand and develop the Sales Team. Ensure they have the knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve sales.
- Manage sales process, forecasting, account mapping, identification of stakeholders, regular reporting.
- As part of the Sales Executive board, assist steering of sales and market opportunities for the global software organization.
- Mentor junior sales personnel and provide guidance and support to technical sales personnel. Ensure that good sales practices/methodologies are understood and implemented.
- Liaise with research and development, to feedback comments and requests from existing and potential customers.
- Support Marketing effort - working closely with marketing personnel on activities that increase awareness and reputation of the Company's offerings.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices relating to core business and ensure that sales policies & procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain brochures, advertising, and promotional items.
- Maintain and distribute rig and sales reports.
- Map and generate short and long term sales opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Research specific customers/markets and develop innovative, cost effective and timely service offerings as appropriate.
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other functions to identify and recommend where appropriate, solutions that enhance proposals.
