About Digit General Insurance

Let's talk about bread! The way we know it today, sliced form, was not how it was a century ago. It had to be knifed, torn, or bitten-off from the loaf itself. Complicated, right? Especially now that you can easily toast a slice. Pop, so simple! But why are we talking about bread? Because insurance today is very much like that unsliced loaf of bread; cumbersome and unnecessarily complicated. Most consumers have a lack of understanding of what product is right for them, and claim settlement is a long, tedious process where paperwork and fine print make the entire experience unpleasant. Someone gets us a knife here! We believe this can be changed; the way insurance products are viewed, purchased, and claimed. Simply put, we are here 'to make insurance simple.' With that as our mission, we are re-imagining products, and redesigning processes. We are going back to the basics and building simple and transparent insurance solutions, that matter to people.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on quotes preparation for Covid
2. Work on GMC quotes preparation
3. Maintain MIS
4. Manage policy issuance
5. Work on portal quotes, if any (for fire)

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 5th May'21 and 9th Jun'21

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. are from Delhi, Delhi and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Graduate with good academics

2. Good communication skills

3. Excel skills
