Job Description

Summary:-

The Sales Specialist is a key position within the Masimo India team and is responsible for all sales activities in their territory. This includes, development of a territory sales strategy, identification of key opinion leaders and target accounts, securing customer meetings to review Masimo products and technologies, tender response, pricing, delivery and installation of product at client site and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Masimo business for the region - sales, marketing, technical service and customer service.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with all key Masimo customers in the territory/region.
  • Develop strategic plans aimed at increasing Masimo business in specific target accounts/region as agreed.
  • Develop a comprehensive prospecting list of potential clients, qualify for eligibility, and key stake holder matrix by department for each account.
  • Target key accounts, secure introductory meetings and conduct demonstrations to highlight key features and benefits of Masimo technology.
  • Secure multiple opportunities within the same organization to showcase Masimo technology and establish relationships with key leaders at the hospital.
  • Lead product demonstrations, side-by-side comparisons and education & awareness sessions with different disciplines within the hospital.
  • Develop key relationships with decision maker and decision influencers and maintain these relationships pro-actively.
  • Develop full working knowledge of competitive relationships within the organization.
  • Identify and develop relationships with local representatives from Masimo’s OEM partners.
  • Ensure all potential business opportunities are followed up and closed in Masimo’s best interests.
  • Work diligently to successfully achieve annual sales and profitability plans.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically as per the need to ensure high level of visibility within the market and good contact will all distributors and customers ensuring a greater propensity to capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Manage all equipment placement deals to guarantee all Masimo assets or contracts are registered on the relevant systems and filed accordingly and in line with good business practices.
  • Develop market knowledge including competitor activities and market information pertaining to Masimo core business. This should specifically focus on opportunities to develop and grow the business over the short, medium and long term.
  • Attend and assist with professional conferences and engage customers at the exhibition stand and at planned social functions.
  • Communicate any relevant product information to the customers/distributors.
  • Present Masimo products in an ethical manner by providing correct information to the market and distributors.
  • Seek and use customer feedback regarding products and services for the purpose of providing tools for continuous improvement in quality and environmental impact.
  • Responsible for the ongoing support and guidance of Masimo/distributor employees including technical service engineers and clinical support personnel.
  • Work closely with clinical and technical support teams in Singapore/Switzerland/USA
  • Endeavour to comply with all relevant Occupational Health & Safety regulations and to consider and minimise risk to the organisation and personnel arising from his/her activities.
  • Report all defective product incidents within the assigned sales region in a timely manner to Masimo, utilising the RMA process.
  • Co-ordinate all product recalls and safety alerts.
  • Assist relevant Masimo supply chain with product manufacturing forecasting to ensure reliable supply of products to customers.
  • Undertake relevant sales and clinical training courses at Masimo to increase knowledge of Masimo products and the selling process.
  • Provide security and care of Masimo assets that are on loan to you as a Masimo employee.
Qualifications:-
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience of medical devices in the region where the position is based.
  • Proven network of customers
  • Degree in science, nursing, marketing or related medical business field.
  • Experience in technical/clinical support both at a customer and distributor level. Display high level negotiation skills.
  • Excellent and effective English oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate and have excellent organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, and work weekends as needed
  • This role would be on third party’s payroll, convertible to Masimo permanent payroll after a year
