Job Description
- Salesforce Developer (Mumbai)
- Location: Mumbai
- As a Salesforce developer, you will work with the growing development team in Mumbai, which supports our consulting and product development teams by building custom-coded components: pages, classes, integrations, etc.
- As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing Visualforce pages, Triggers and Batch solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will contribute to solution design and act as a sounding board to technical requirements to the consulting and product development teams.
- Work closely with Vera’s consulting and product teams to develop, test and implement best-in-class Force.com-based applications for a range of social service organisations worldwide;
- Interpret and understand technical specifications and designs provided by the senior developer asking questions in order to deeply understand the requirement and write performant code that meets Vera’s quality standard delivered on time;
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies that are relevant to international development organizations, both those directly related to Salesforce/Force.com and those not;
- Participate in internal communications and learning efforts including sharing latest research, workshops, and industry best practices w.r.t. Salesforce.com;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
- At least 1+ years of experience in software development and/or programming in Salesforce;
- Sound understanding of OOP concepts;
- Ability to write code meeting the prescribed organisation quality standard;
- Fluency in Salesforce custom development using Visualforce and Apex would be preferred;
- Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning would be a plus;
- Fluent in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Diligent work ethic and proven ability to work with drive and enthusiasm;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects;
- Understand and analyse system requirements and participate in the solution design.
- Platform Developer – I Certified;
- 1+ years of experience developing on Force.com;
- Proficient with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and front-end technologies;
- Strong understanding of point and click aspect of Salesforce as platform and its features;
- Past experience with version control such as Git and SVN;
