Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and Maintain SAP Landscape in BorgWarner.

Monitoring and Execution of SAP Backup/ Restore & Recovery tasks.

Primary contact for integrating third party applications with SAP systems (e.g. PLM, MES, CAD, EDI…)

Designing and Building up middleware application services and launch them into operation

Responsible for integration of SAP into other enterprise systems (e.g. Active Directory, Sharepoint, MES, Service Now, PLM, …)

Handle SAP Basis and middleware related Tickets and resolve them as per the SLA.

SAP Basis & middleware applications administration

Basis configuration, customizing & Performance management of SAP Application Servers (e.g. ERP, GTS, BW, SRM, PPM, SolMan, GRC, HR & Portal)Maintaining SAP system landscape e.g. installing EhPs, SPS, LCPsMaintaining Database landscape for SAP and Middleware applications

Controlling and monitoring of SAP landscape including subsystems

Administration and configuration of SAP subsystems like archiving and printing landscape and middleware applications

Supporting the rights and roles framework

Monitoring Backup & Execution of Restore/Recovery TasksPerform System Refreshes / Client CopiesAssures achieving the Service levels for the operation of the business application platforms

Perform after hour maintenance and emergency on call work as needed2nd Level Support

Key Requirements

Good Knowledge and experience on installation and maintenance of SAP Servers.
5+ years work experience in related environment
Deep Knowledge and Experience in SAP Core Components, preferably certified
Knowledge in middleware tools like Readsoft, Tecdoc, QM3, Easy Archive, Honico, Batchman will be an added advantage.
Systematic and structured work behavior, Self Motivated and Driven
Strong English Communications skills
Should be able to handle the SAP Basis related issues with minimal support.
Should have good problem solving skills
Should be able to provide on call support as needed

Skill Set

Hands on Expertise in SAP Basis Administration and SAP Interfaces
Good working knowledge with various Operating systems and database platforms supporting SAP.
Good Working Knowledge in SAP Hana, Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases will be an added advantage
