Essential Qualifications : A Masters Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent with Architecture/ Planning/Technology/Engineering at Degree level OR Masters Degree in Economics/Geography/Sociology and a Masters Degree in Planning with First Class in both the Masters degrees
Specialization : Urban and Regional Planning / Environmental Planning
Architecture-Assistant Professor
Essential Qualifications : A Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent and Bachelors Degree in Architecture
Specialization : Landscape Architecture / Conservation / Urban Design /Energy Studies & Simulations/ Green & Sustainable Buildings/Digital Architecture
Assistant Professor (Specialization-Engineering)
Essential Qualifications : A Masters Degree and Bachelor in Engineering or Technology (Civil/Structural/ Mechanical or allied disciplines) with first class or equivalent in Masters Degree
Assistant Professor (Specialization-Fine Arts)
Essential Qualifications : A Masters Degree and Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with specialization in painting, sculpture, applied art or art history & art criticism, with first class or equivalent in Masters Degree
Salary : Assistant Professor with Master Degree : Rs.55,000/- per month Assistant Professor with Ph.D : Rs.65,000/- per month. Including Mobile allowance Rs.1,000/- and Transport Allowance Rs.3,000/-

School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, (in short SPAV), was established on July 7, 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, as an autonomous institution. SPAV is a premier Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI) directly under the MHRD, for excellence in the fields of Planning and Architecture.
