Project Titled : “Monitoring survey of cancer risk factors and health system response in North East Region (NER)”
Essential Qualifications: MBBS / BDS / BAMS from a recognized university with one year research/ teaching experience Or
BDS / BAMS / B VSc from a recognized university with two years research / teaching experience Or MPH / MD in Community Medicine / Public health from a recognized university
Desirable Qualifications: One-year research experience in community studies. Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
Age: 35 years
Project Technician III (Field Worker) /Number of vacancies 01
Essential Qualifications :12th pass in science subjects or two years of field.
Note: B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.
Desirable Qualifications : Three years’ degree in Life Sciences. Or one-year experience in field work and Knowledge of computer applications and data management
Age 30 years
Consolidated Salary :Rs 18,000/- p.m

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
