Qualification : Master Degree in Physical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences OR Degree in Engineering/ Medical Science OR Ph.D. in any of the above fields OR Masters degree in Engineering and Medicine Desirable: Research experience of working in Himalaya on Plant Biotechnology
 

2. Scientist-C – One (SC)

Qualification : Master Degree in Physical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences OR Degree in Engineering/ Medical Science OR Ph.D. in any of the above fields OR Masters degree in Engineering and Medicine Desirable: Research experience of working in Himalaya on Human Geography/Rural Development or Economics Desirable: Ecological economics/Environmental Economics/ Natural Resource Economics
 

3. Scientist-B – One (UR)

Qualification : Master Degree in Physical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences OR
Degree in Engineering/ Medical Science  OR Ph.D. in any of the above fields OR Masters degree in Engineering and Medicine Desirable: Research experience of working in Himalaya on Himalayan Geology/Geo-hazards.
