Name of the Project :  Integrated Road Traffic Injuries Surveillance (IRIS), India: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Essential Qualification :

Medical  : MBBS degree recognized by MCI and registered in the appropriate Council with two years of experience in clinical research or public health research or teaching.

Non Medical  : 1 st Class Master’s degree (MPH/M.Sc/MAE) in Public health/Community Health/Epidemiology/Health Sciences from a recognized university with 2 years experience in public health research or teaching. OR 2 nd Class Master’s degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University OR BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one year experience in public health research or teaching.

Desirable Qualification and Experience :

1 Knowledge of computer applications/data management

2 Experience of field-based health-related research, including field supervision and data collection

3 Proficient to speak, read and write in Tamil

Age Limit :

35 Years for UR Post (No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates)

40 years (including 5 Years age relaxation for SC Candidates)

Emoluments :

Medical - Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month

Non Medical – Rs.48,000/- + HRA per month
