Name of the Project :  Study on the prevalence of oral premalignant and malignant lesions and the associated viral etiological agents among the tribal population of Car Nicobar Island

Scientist-B (Non-Medical)

No. of Post  :  01 (GEN)

Qualification  :  First Class Master’s Degree in Cancer Biology/Virology from a recognized University with 02 years’ experience preferably in same subjects OR Second Class Master’s Degree with Ph.D. in Cancer Biology/Virology from a recognized University OR BDS with 01-year experience

Desirable :  MDS in Oral Pathology/MDS in Public Health Dentistry. 02 years of work experience in area related to oral health

Salary : Rs. 48,000/- + 10% HRA= Rs. 50,100/- (Consolidated)

Age Limit : 35 Years

Project Technician-II

No. of Posts  : 02 (01-GEN & 01-ST)

Qualification  :  High school* or equivalent with five years’ experience in laboratory Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Pathology)/Field work from a Government institution. OR Certificate course of one year MLT/Nursing Midwifery.  Intermediate with science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years’ experience, respectively

Desirable : Experience in carrying out field survey. Knowledge of Computer Applications

Salary : Rs. 17,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit : 28 Years
