Scientist B /Project Technical Officer job recruitment in National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis on contract basis
Scientist B (Non Medical) Bio-informatics / Place of posting 1-Chennai / UR-1
Essential qualification :1 st Class Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Genomics/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Computer science/ Information Technology from a recognized university with 2 years of independent working experience with the development of computational whole genome sequence data analysis pipeline preferably in the command line based operating systems with various analytic programs and tools such as Perl/Python/R-Bioconductor packages/MATLAB/Excel/etc., Or Candidate with 2 nd class Master’s Degree in the above mentioned subjects must have completed Ph.D in relevant subject with the required experiences.
Age limit Not exceeding 35 years.
Emoluments salary :Rs.48,000/- + HRA 6300/-P.M
Project Technical Officer (Lab)/ Place of posting 2-Chennai Number of posts 2(Two), UR-1,OBC-1
Essential qualification :Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized university with five years experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Life Science.
Desirable Qualification Candidates with earlier working experience on BSL3 laboratory handling of M. tuberculosis are preferred.
Age limit :Not exceeding 30 years.
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.32,000/- Duration Initially for a period of ten months
Operator (Grade A)/ Place of posting 1- Chennai Number of posts 1(One), SC-1
Essential qualification: Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board.
