Scientist - D/ C  job Position in Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology on deputation/ absorption basis

Scientist D

Eligibility : The Scientists or Technologists working in the  Central Government or State Government   or Universities or  Recognised Research Institutions or Semi Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations in India or abroad - (a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) five years service in a post in Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the pay Matrix or equivalent.  

Qualification  : 1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology) or Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses B-level or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers or Graduate Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers or Masters Degree in Science (M.Sc.) or Master Degree in Computer Application or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME or M-Tech) or Masters Degree in Philosophy (M. Phil) in the field as mentioned below:- 1.1 The educational qualifications indicated above could be restricted to the following fields (single or in combination):-Physics, Applied Physics, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Radio Physics and Electronics, Materials Science,  Computer Sciences,   Computer and Networking Security, Computer Application, Software System, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Informatics, Computer Management, Cyber Law, Geographical information Systems (GIS), Mathematics,      Applied  Mathematics, Production, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics and Instrumentation, Power Electronics.

Desirable: Doctorate (Ph.D) in Science or Engineering or Information Communication Technology. (iii) Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other Organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years, which may be extended further with the approval of the Central Government.  (iv) The Departmental candidates in the feeder category, who are in the direct line of in-situ promotion under Flexible Complementing Scheme or any other Scientific and Technical Personnel Policy in vogue shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation except for the ex-cadre post for which they are not the feeder grade officers, and similarly deputationist  shall not be eligible for consideration for in-situ promotion under Flexible Complementing Scheme or any other Scientific and Technical Personnel Policy in vogue;

Pay : Level-12, Rs.78800-209200/-

Age Limit :  The maximum age-limit for appointment on deputation   shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Qualification  : 1.  Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology) or Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses B-level or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers or Graduate Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers or Masters Degree in Science (M.Sc) or Master Degree in Computer Application or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME or M-Tech) or Masters Degree in Philosophy (M.
