Educational Qualification and disciplines: Master's Degree in Natural Science or Agricultural Science OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disci line OR Bachelor's Degree in Medicine Doctorate in Natural Science or Agricultural Science or Technology or Engineering Master's Degree in Natural Science or Agricultural Science OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disci line OR Bachelor's Degree in Medicine Doctorate in Natural Science or Agricultural Science or Technology or Engineering

Desirable: Research experience in Himalayan ecosystem/ Mountain Terrains/Biodiversity data management/Genetic Characterization of rare plants/ Natural resource management

Place of work: Headquarters or any of the regional Centers of the Institute; selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Salary:

i. Scientist-E PB -4 + G.P. 8700 Level- 13 (Pay Matrix of Rs. 123100-215900)

ii. Scientist-C PB -3 + G.P. 6600 Level- 11 (Pay Matrix of Rs. 67700-208700)

Age Limit: 35 - 45 yrs

Application Fees: The application along with Demand Draft of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour Of Director, G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (GBPNIHE), payable at Almora, as application fee in case of candidates Unreserved category, OBC and E WS.
