Scientist-F/ 01 Post(UR) (on Adhoc/Deputation/ Short Term Contract basis maximum up to April 2023)
Qualification and disciplines:
Master Degree in Physical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences OR
Degree in Engineering/ Medical Science OR
Ph.D. in any of the above fields OR
Masters degree in Engineering and Medicine
Experience in required areas: 13 Years, 14Years, 10 Years, 16 Years
Age limit not exceeding: 41years - 44 years
Discipline/Subject and Area of Specialization/Remarks: Botany (Plant Science)/Zoology (Animal Science) [area of specialization in Forest or Grass Land Ecology/Landscape Ecology/Ecosystem Management/Biodiversity Management]
Desirable: Research Experience in Himalayan Ecosystem/ Mountain terrain, evidenced by publications in reputed scientific journals
Scientist-E/ 01 Post(UR) (on Adhoc/Deputation/ Short Term Contract basis maximum up to June 2022)

Desirable: Research Experience in Himalayan Ecosystem/ Mountain terrain, evidenced by publications in reputed scientific journals
Place of work: Headquarters or any of the regional Centers of the Institute; the selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India.
Application Fee: The application along with Demand Draft of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favor of Director, G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development, payable at Almora, as application fee in case of General/OBC candidate. SC/ST/PwD and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
