Scientist job Position in National Dairy Development
Scientist -I (Honey Testing Laboratory)
Qualification: The incumbent should be MSc/M Tech (Any branch of Chemistry/ Food Science / Biotechnology) with minimum 3 years of experience in authenticity, chemical analysis and contaminant analysis of honey or other agricultural commodities.or
PhD in any of the above disciplines with minimum 2 years of experience in Honey testing. The candidate with work on EA-IRMS and LC-IRMS in doctorate program with 2 publications in the journal of repute (from PhD work), may be preferred.
Candidates with prior work experience in honey would be preferred.
Skills/ Attributes: Technical: 1. Expertise in Authenticity of Honey by using EA-IRMS & LC-IRMS 2. Wet Chemical Testing of Honey.3. Desirable to have exposure on Residue Analysis antibiotics, pesticides by using LCMS-MS & GCMS-MS, HPLC, GC etc.4. Method development & validation.5. Awareness of ISO17025:2017
Skills/ Attributes: Managerial:1. Creative thinking and innovative and desire to keep oneself updated on latest development 2. Result oriented.3. Thinking strategically. 4. Building relationship and teamwork. 5. Influencing and persuading.6. Resolving conflicts and other problems. 7.Being adaptable.

Scientist-I (QA-Laboratory)
Qualification & Experience :The incumbent should be MSc/M Tech (Any branch of Chemistry/ Microbiology (Dairy, Food or General) /Biotechnology/ Food Science) with at least 3 years of experience in the QA activities of a food laboratory.Or
PhD in any of the above disciplines with minimum 2 years of experience in the QA activities of a food laboratory.
Candidates with prior work experience in accredited laboratory as per ISO-17043 would be preferred.
Skills/ Attributes: Technical
1. Through understanding on ISO 17025 and ISO 17043 current versions.
2. Exposure in statistical analysis /tools /packages for routine quality control evaluation and Proficiency Testing.3. Through with PT, various quality control techniques and GLP in analysis.
4. Understanding of Regulatory limits and method of analysis as per the regulation of FSSAI/ BIS/ Codex/ EU etc. for Milk and Milk products, Water and Food.
Skills/ Attributes: Managerial
1. Understanding about regulations and recognition schemes.2. Creative thinking and innovation.3. Result oriented.4. Thinking strategically.5. Building relationship and teamwork.6.Influencing and persuading.7.Resolving conflicts and other problems.8. Being adaptable.9. Proficiency in English.10. Good communication and presentation skills.
