Preference will be given to candidates who have contributed to advancements in methodology for Xray diffraction or in solving crystal structures for synthetic semi crystalline polymers. Preference will be given to the candidates with work experience in a university and/or research institute and/or industry on technology development programs in which structural characterization of semi crystalline polymers, and development of quantitative relationships between semi crystalline structure and polymer material properties has been an integral part of the program. Preference will also be given to candidates who have experience in product development, technology innovation and/or applied technology relating to X-ray techniques as applied to semi crystalline polymers. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated ability to undertake fundamental research in the area of polymer crystallization, as demonstrated through publications in high impact factor journals or patents.
