Minimum Qualifications and Experience : Ph.D. (awarded) in life
sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first
class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced
from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or
publications. Minimum three years of post-doctoral experience using
human/mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and/or mouse/rat brain as model systems.
Desirable Hands on experience with neurobiology/molecular cell biology and
associated techniques. Experience with transgenic and knockout animals would
be preferred. Candidate should have published at least three first author
articles in peer-reviewed journals in relevant fields.
Pay Scale : Rs. 68,000

thesis/dissertation work carried out in a reputed scientific institution
and/or publications. Minimum two years post M.Sc. experience. Must have
qualified CSIR-JRF/NET or GATE examination. The incumbent should be prepared
to travel between the collaborators’ labs to coordinate the projects.
Preference Hands on experience with advanced molecular biology techniques
including quantitative RT-PCR, ChIP and NGS library preparation. Practical
experience in immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy will be a useful
qualification.

imaging will be a useful qualification. Candidate should have published at
least one first author article in a peer-reviewed journal in relevant field.
