Scout / Guide Quota Jobs in Across India - Western Railway

Employment Notification No. RRC/WR/03/2019

Western Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC),Mumbai invites online applications from eligible Scout and Guide candidates for recruitment of Level 2 and Level 1 positions against Scout and Guide Quota 2019-2020.

Age Limit: 18 – 30 years for Level 2; 18 – 33 years for Level 1.

Essential Qualification: (As on 04/01/2020)

Level 2: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate- 50% marks are not required in case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen / Persons With Disabilities (PwBD) candidates (40% & above) for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualifications i.e. Graduate, Post Graduate from a recognised University.

Level 1: 10th passed (Matric) OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (OR) 10th passed plus ITI OR 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Signal & Telecom Departments).

Scouts and Guiding Qualifications:

(1) A President Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section;
(2) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years i. e. 2014-15 onwards.
(3) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railway’s level AND Two events at State level.

Selection Process: Written Examination and Document Verification.

Examination Fee: Rs. 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PWD (40% and Above) / Women / Minorities and Economically Backward Class candidates; Rs. 500/- for all others.
