Asst.Professor recruitment in Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST)

Asst. Professor (Epidemiology)/ (Expected Vacancy- 1)

Qualification & Experience: Three years of teaching and/or research experience after Ph.D/MD or its equivalent qualification in Epidemiology.

Asst. Professor (Cardiology)/(Expected Vacancy-1)

Qualification & Experience: Just after DM in the case of 3 years course or one year Teaching and/or research experience after DM in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course or 6 years after MBBS with DM in the case of direct 5 years course. Desirable: 1 year experience in Pediatric Cardiology.

Asst. Professor (Neuro Anaesthesiology)/1 Post

Qualification & Experience: Just after DM (Neuro Anaesthesia) in the case of 3 years course or one year Clinical and Teaching and/or Research experience after DM (Neuro Anaesthesia) or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course or 6 years after MBBS with DM (Neuro Anaesthesia) in the case of direct 5 years course. OR Three years of Clinical and Teaching and/or Research experience in Neuro Anaesthesia after obtaining MD in the speciality concerned.

Asst. Professor (Cardiac Imaging & Vascular Intervention)/2 Posts

Qualification & Experience: Three years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining MD in the speciality concerned with experience in Cardiac Imaging and Vascular Intervention and willingness to work exclusively in Cardiac Imaging and Vascular Intervention discipline.  

Asst. Professor (Pediatric Cardiac Surgery) /2 Posts

Qualification & Experience: Just after M.Ch in the case of 3 years course or one year teaching and/or research experience after obtaining M.Ch in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course or 6 years after MBBS with M.Ch in the case of direct 5 years course with willingness to work exclusively in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.

Pay Band: Rs.15600-39100 (minimum pay Rs.30000/-) and academic grade pay Rs.8000/-.

Upper age limit: 40 yrs as on 01.05.2016

Application Fee: Rs.750/- for General/OBC & Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates (according to rules of SCTIMST). Physically Handicapped Candidates (40% or more) are exempted from fee. The concession/exemption in application fee will be given only on submission of self attested copy of the SC/ST/Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority along with the system generated Application.

Selection Process:  Eligible candidates have to appear for an interview. A written test may be conducted only for screening purpose depending on the number of candidates for a particular post.
