JRF Arts recruitment in SCTIMST on contract basis
Project entitled: “Effects of Yoga on motor cortex plasticity, motor learning and motor deficits of Parkinson’s disease” (P-5320)
Qualification & Experience (Essential) : 1st Class Master of Arts (MA) in Yoga or 1 st Class Master of Science (M Sc) in Yoga with NET OR Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences with NET OR MD in Yoga
Qualification & Experience (Desirable): One year experience in Yoga training in a hospital or research centre
Maximum age as on 30-09-2016 : 35 Years
Number of vacancies : 1
Consolidated remuneration : Rs. 25000/- + 20% HRA per month for first and second years and Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA per month for third year.
Meritorious candidates with M Sc (Yoga)/BNYS will be considered for selection at a lesser remuneration of Rs. 14,500/- +20% HRA p m (with yearly addition of Rs. 400/-)

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST) the origin of the Institute dates back to 1973 when the Royal Family of Travancore gifted a multistoried building for the people and Government of Kerala. Sri. P. N. Haskar, the then Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, inaugurated the Sree Chitra Tirunal Medical Center in 1976, when patient services including inpatient treatment got underway.
