What is your role going to be?

• This is a role for functional tester who creates effective test scenarios and builds automated test scripts
• Develop robust test scenario and test cases that covers functional, security and compliance requirements
• Actively involved in planning activity and provide level of effort as needed
• Involvement in troubleshooting and resolving bugs and errors with the development and support teams
• Assist other teams and customers in system integration testing and user acceptance testing
  

What are we looking for?

• Payment industry transaction experience is a BIG PLUS
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting ability
• Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques and principles with knowledge of at least one object-oriented language
• Hands on experience creating jobs in Jenkins
• Should have good knowledge of creating SQL queries
• Experience using source control (Git, SVN).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be quick learner with great attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
• Ability to involve in troubleshooting and resolving bugs and errors with the development teams
• Good ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical members of the team
• The ability and desire to work in a self-directed manner (taking initial direction and instruction but then turning it into tasks) in a distributed team
• Good ability to grasp the big picture, analyze and understand technical and non- technical requirements and develop a robust testing approach, test scenario and test cases
• Experience with application testing, including backend testing, functional, usability, regression, load/stress and performance testing
• Skilled in Software Testing methodology, Testing life cycle and Testing concepts
• Hands-on experience in all phases of software testing and good understanding of overall SDLC process
• Hands-on experience in test execution and validation activities
• Good at defect management and status reporting activities
• Hands-on experience using requirement/test management tools e.g Rally, qTest, HP ALM, JIRA, etc.
• Hands-on experience in QA automation for web applications
• Good understanding of testing life cycle, methodology and QA processes
• Good understanding overall SDLC process
• Strong in Object Oriented Programming concepts and coding standards
• Sound understanding of browsers and HTTP
• Proficient in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, HTML, TestNG, Eclipse, XML, JSON
• Ability to develop & run complex automation scripts using Java/Selenium
• Good knowledge of web services & APIs
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix automation issues
• Experienced in performing automation feasibility analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of API automation, JDBC, AutoIT and Sikuli will be a plus
• Familiar with configuration management, dependency management & CI tools - Git, Maven & Jenkins
• Excellent communication skills
