Your Role and Responsibilities
You will implement the Security Architecture and Programming Practices for IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) product suite. You will collaborate with different functions within and across the product portfolio to ensure these practices and features are in alignment with overall IBM AI stack and protect IBM's and IBM’s clients assets via Agile Methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Security Architect to understand and implement various architecture, design and programming best practices related to security.
- Write code and define configurations for security across the various product sub systems.
- Evangelize the security related programming/design practices with rest of the development and support teams.
- Perform code and configuration reviews of the sub-systems built across the product suite.
- Work closely with the Testing team to help with the Application Security Testing including Static and Dynamic Code scans (SAST/DAST), Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
- Implement the recommendations and decision that ensure product compliance with corporate policy, evolving industry standards, and relevant regulatory controls
- Contribute to the development of product documentation targeted to both internal and external audience.
- Participate in product risk assessments and threat modelling.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- • Good exposure to information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security.
- • Capable of implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies.(like SSO/OAuth/OpenID/RBAC)
- • Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
- • Understanding of one or more databases (DB2/Oracle)
- • Good understanding of SQL.
- • Good working knowledge of Full stack development experience with Java application frameworks.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Exposure to security architecture and design practices in the Cloud Native systems will be an added advantage and a key differentiator.
- • Web application development and technologies (UI toolkits/HTML/CSS)
- • Knowledge of web security protocols
- • Detailed knowledge about at least one web server. Understanding of Web proxying/scaling technologies
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook
