Job Description
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Till Maintenance & Management Management of tills when Head Cashier is on weekly off, Ensure that there is no shortage or excess in cash, Ensure adherence to SOPs, Ensure all stationery required at the cash counter is available. Billing Ensure 100% accuracy in handling of Cash, Credit card, Credit note & GV transactions Ensure speed in billing as per the norms, Ensure that all tags are removed from the merchandise purchased by customers to avoid beeping at the exit, Ensure all mark-ups & mark downs are done with authorization and proper rationale, Ensure that the products packed match the products billed. Customer Service Follow the Meet, Greet and Direct process for cashiers, Talk to customers regarding all the promotions and product range, Respond to customer queries, Ensure Up-selling to customers, Ensure that TIC customers’ data is entered and convert customers to TIC membership Cash Management & MIS Ensure proper handover of all transactions is done to the head cashier before leaving the till, Support the head / Sr. Cashier in all cash related activities. Marketing/Promotion Management Ensure proper execution of offers / promotions at stores as per defined process.
