Job Description
National Institute of Smart Government (NISG) invites application for the position Senior Consultant
Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Senior Consultant (Technology Management– Consulting)
b. Division- State e-Governance Mission Team(SeMT)
Location- Chandigarh
Job Objective: The objective of this job is to assist the State Government on technological issues related to core infrastructure, MMPs and other e – governance projects
Job Requirements:
a) Consulting experience in design, development and execution of large scale IT Infrastructure/ Application development projects.
b) Strong documentation skills with respect to Business Process Re-engineering, Preparation of IT Plans, DPR, EoI, RFP, FRS, SRS etc.
c) Knowledge of emerging technologies like Block chain, Artificial Intelligence.
d) Define and roll-out of the IT Policies and processes related to IT Infrastructure and end user computing devices
e) Capable to create high quality and user understandable documentation, preparing project progress reports, MIS reports, etc.
f) Management related experience/ coordination with various stakeholders.
g) Working experience in Government/ PSU setup.
Profile: Education
Essential Criteria: Graduation: B.E / B. Tech / MCA
Experience:
a. 10 plus years of experience in IT Projects, software development, security management in IT projects
b. Preferred Industry certifications like PMP, PMI, Prince 2 etc. are desirable
c. 3 to 5 years experience of managing a complete life cycle of large scale IT / eGovernance projects
Desirable Criteria: Post Graduation: MBA / M. Tech.
