Educational and Other qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment:
Essential:
i) Degree in Law from a recognized University.
ii) Five years executive experience in a Legal Establishment of a /Industrial/Commercial/Govt. undertakings.
Desirable: Post graduate degree in law from a recognized University

Upper Age limit: 35 years (As on dt.01.01.2019) (in the case of employees of the Board of any Major Port Trust, age limit shall not exceed 55 years)
Scale of Pay: Rs.20600-46500 (pre-revised Rs.10750-16750)
