All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) invites application for the position Senior Medical Officer
Project: “Self-management interventions to improve hypertension control: A mixed method implementation study'
Name of the post: Senior Medical Officer
Number of posts: 1 (UR)
Consolidated Pay: Rs 100,000/- (including HRA)
Duration of contract: 12 months (likely to be extendable to 24 months subject to continuation of funding by ICMR and performance of the employee)
Qualifications (Essential): MD (Community Medicine/ PSM/ SPM/ CHA or equivalent according to NMC guidelines) OR MD (Family Medicine) with 3 years’ R & D experience in health research subject or teaching.
Qualifications (Desirable): handled a clinical trial, published in PubMed indexed journal as first/ corresponding author
Job Description: To provide assistance in conducting the project in form of literature review, selection of other staff, procurement of tools & equipment, qualitative interview, microplanning for data collection, quality assurance & supervision, data analysis, report writing & dissemination, financial record-keeping and other tasks assigned by PI.
Age Limit: 35 years or less
