Senior .NET Developer (Web Applications)

• Opsfinity is a Silicon Valley Startup, building a ground breaking Data Platform Technology on Azure Cloud. 
• We're looking to hire a strong .NET developer with 3 to 6 years experience in building web applications in .NET. Microsoft Azure cloud experience is awesome to have, but its ok to apply if you don't.
• The position is based in Bangalore. No remote work allowed. You need to be in Bangalore, or be willing to relocate. 
• We will provide reasonable relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Job:

• You will work closely with the lead developers in .NET, and responsible for building multi-tier web application, and data analytics platform based in Microsoft Azure. 
  
• You will design, develop, test and deploy the web application in Microsoft Azure cloud.
  
• You will work with the front-end team and the U.S. project management team to deliver sharp, smooth web applications.
  
• This is a long term project, with multiple phases, and increasing functionality, so you will have to work on new release cycles (Sprint) and support bug fixes for the older ones, as part of the continual improvement project delivery methodology.
  
• You will be involved in design planning of architecture, selection of technology stack, and infrastructure components in and around Microsoft Azure cloud eco system.
  
• You will be responsible for end-to-end design through delivery of specific project deliverables.
  
• You will develop documentation and working testing methodologies as per the project framework.
  

Skills Required :

3 to 6 years experience in :

• ASP.NET MVC 4.0/5.0
• Entity Framework 5.0/6.0
• ASP.Net Web API 1.0/2.0
• Object Oriented Programming with C#
• You have used design patters
• Deep knowledge of Deploying and tuning .NET apps in IIS
• Experience building and running .NET applications in Azure or AWS is a big plus.
• Application load balancing familiarity or experience is a big plus. But, not essential.

Front-End:

• Front-end is a nice to have experience on below mentioned skills. 
• But, not a must. The more you know, the better. 
• Core job is focused on .NET web application development. 
• Front-end is a separate team, but your skills in this area would make you more successful at this job.
  
• HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0
• Angular 2.0 and above
• React and / or other Javascript UI frameworks
• AJAX, Bootstrap, Custom Java script Frameworks, Admin Panels, etc.
• Experience with Charts and Graphs rendering
• Reports design, Web compliance, Web design tools
• Database : Database proficiency is a must.
  
• Intermediate : SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL (SQL Server preferred)
  
• Database Design, Database configurations and tuning DB
  
• XML, JSON, OAuth, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers
• Nice to have knowledge of Azure SQL DB (but not essential)

Security :

• Work experience in Web applications security (SSL, Identity mgmt., Authentication) is a great plus.
  

Development Life cycle :

• SDLC, Agile methodologies of Software development using Git, Git Hub, or other source control
  
• Experience in either designing or assisting with design of Build/Release systems.
  

Nice to have :

•  Azure Exposure
