Senior Research Fellow job opportunities in Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on contractual basis
Project Title: “Establishment of spermatogonial stem cell line (SSC) from Sahyadria denisonii”
Qualification: Master's Degree in fishery science or veterinary science or life sciences with specialization in somatic /stem cell culture, with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree.
OR
Candidates having post graduate degree in Life Sciences with specialization in mammalian cell culture with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z- 09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014
Desirable: Research experience in spermatogonial cell culture techniques, Molecular Biology, etc. First division in Graduation as well as Post-Graduation. Publications in relevant field.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/-+ HRA per month

About Company
The National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR) was established in December 1983 in a rented premises at Allahabad under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research to undertake research related to the conservation of fish germplasm resources of the country. The Bureau’s permanent infrastructure was developed at Canal Ring Road, Telibagh, Lucknow, U.P in 1999 comprising an administrative block, laboratories, farm and residential complex covering an area of 52 acres. The Institute's vision is assessment and conservation of fish genetic resources for intellectual property protection, sustainable utilization and posterity.
