Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) – 1 Post

1. Forensic Medicine: Gen- 1 post.
Qualification: MBBS / M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty. PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred.
Age limit: MBBS: 30 years. PG degree holder: 33 years.
Application Fee : UR: Rs.500, SC: Rs.250. Candidates should go to any Branch of State Bank of India with the fee Payment Challan duly filled in and pay the prescribed Application Fee in the "Power Jyoti" account of GMCH. The candidates after having deposited the application fee in the bank must ensure that they have Triplicate Fee Payment Challan.
Selection Process : On the basis of Written Exam and Interview. The Written Test will be held in Chandigarh only. The short listed candidates must bring all original certificates along with one set of photocopy, duly attested/self attested.

started during the year 1991 in pursuance of the No Objection
Certificate issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, vide their U.O.No. 12013/31-90ME(P) dated 15-01-91. The
defacto Government Medical College was started in the Prayaas building,
Sector 38, Chandigarh after the foundation stone laying ceremony was
performed by the former Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Chandra
Shekhar on 20 January, 1991 in Sector 32 on the quilt of 36.09 acre of
land allotted by the Chandigarh Administration
