Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI) invites application for the position Senior Resident etc.

Speciality:

a. Clinical Oncology (Radiotherapy) - 09

b. Anaesthesia And Critical Care - 07

c. Radiodiagnosis - 06

d. Surgical Oncology - 02

e. Lab Medicine :

f. Microbiology - 01

g. Biochemistry - 02

h. Palliative Care & Pain Relief - 02

i. Preventive Oncology - 01

Pay Scale: As per Pay Matrix Level 11 i.e. 67,700/- + allowances

Qualifications: Clinical Oncology (Radiotherapy)

i. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI ii. Post Graduate qualifications like MD/ DipNB in Radiotherapy / Radiation Oncology / DMRT recognised by the Medical Council of India If above candidates are not available, candidates with following qualifications shall be considered for appointment: i. Candidates who have completed three years of junior residency (Academic as post graduate student) but have not taken the exam or have not passed the exam may also appear for interview.

ii. Three years’ experience in the concerned subjects as JR (non-academic) if above is not available.

iii. Candidates who have completed three years of senior residency may also apply

Desirable: (i) Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining to oncology. (ii) Research publications in the concerned speciality. (iii) Experience in Organising Preventive Oncology activities/ Outdoor Camps/ Public Awareness/ IEC Programs at a recognised institution

Qualifications: Anaesthesia And Critical Care - 07

i). MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI ii). Post Graduate qualifications like MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesia recognised by the MCI If above candidates are not available, candidates with following qualifications shall be considered for appointment:

a). Candidates who have completed three years of junior residency (Academic as post graduate student) but have not taken the exam or have not passed the exam may also appear for interview.

b). Three years’ experience in the concerned subjects as JR (non-academic) if above is not available.

c). Candidates who have completed three years of senior residency may also apply.

iii). Registration with Delhi Medical Council.

Desirable: i. Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining to oncology. ii. Research publications in the concerned speciality. iii. Experience in Organising Preventive Oncology activities/ Outdoor Camps/ Public Awareness/ IEC Programs at a recognised institution

Qualifications: Radiodiagnosis: MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI ii. Post Graduate qualifications like MD/ DNB / DMRD in Radiodiagnosis / Radiology recognised by the Medical Council of India iii. Registration with Delhi Medical Council.

1. Qualifications: Preventive Oncology - 01

A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD in Preventive & Social Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. For Non-Medical Candidates ii) Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters in Public Health. iii) A Doctorate degree in Public Health from a recognized University

Desirable: Experience in Organising Preventive Oncology activities/Outdoor Camps/Public Awareness/ IEC Programs at a recognised institution.

1. Qualifications: Biochemistry

MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI ii).Post Graduate qualifications like MD/DNB in Microbiology/Laboratory Medicine recognised by the Medical Council of India

Desirable: Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining to oncology. ii). Research publications in the concerned speciality.

Duty of Senior Residents:

i. His appointment to the post is purely on ad-hoc basis, initially for a period of 44 Days from the date of his joining against the offered post. The appointment can be extended under Residency Scheme as applicable, If the candidate so desires in writing, subject to availability of vacancy and satisfactory work and conduct.

ii. He shall not be entitled to any TA/DA for joining against the post

iii. He shall not consume tobacco, alcohol or any other intoxicant (except when prescribed on medical grounds) in any form while at the Institute and shall ensure the same for his visitors/guests to the Institute also.

iv. He shall be required to report to the IT Section for getting enrolled into Bio Matric Attendance of this Institute. Monthly salary shall be released after verifying attendance in the Bio Matric System.

Age Limit: Not more than 37 years for SRs as on date of interview
