Educational Qualification:a) i) Medical Oncology - MD (Internal Medicine) Or Equivalent PG Degree Recognized By MCI / Candidate with 2 years PG Fellowship in Medical Oncology / DM or DNB in Medical Oncology.
Number of Post: 01.
H & N Oncology - i) MS (ENT) Or MS (Gen. Surgery) Or Equivalent Postgraduate Degree Recognized By MCI / 2 years PG Fellowship in H&N Oncology 1 Cf.)
Number of Post: 01.
Surgical Oncology - M.S. (Gen. Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree / M.Ch or DNB in Surgical Oncology recognised by MCI / 2 years PG Fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
Number of Post: 01.
Plastic Surgery I M.Ch or DNB in Plastic Surgery recognised by Medical Council of India / MS, DNB in General Surgery, ENT, MDS (Maxillofacial Surgery) / 2 years PG Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology.

Radiation Oncology- 2 MD or DNB in Radiation Oncology recognized by MCI.
Number of Post: 02.
Anaesthesia - M.D. or D.N.B. in Anesthesia recognized By MCI.
Number of Post: 01.
Note: The candidates having experience in Oncology will be preferred.
Senior Resident will be offered monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 86,000/- (Rupees Eighty Six Thousand).
Age Limit:40 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for Physically Handicapped). Age & experience will be reckoned as on the last date of online application.

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
