Subject: - Recruitment to the post of Senior Residents on Adhoc basis in various Departments in view of outbreak of covid-19 or till posts are filled on regular basis.
Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate should possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (approved by MCI) in the concerned speciality after M.B.B.S. failing which MBBS with two years’ experience in a Govt. organization out of which one year in the concerned speciality.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ENDOCRINOLOGY- Desired qualification is MD/DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics
ELIGIBILITY FOR HAEMOTOLOGY – The candidate should possess MD or equivalent in Medicine or Paediatrics.
Candidate with M.D. or equivalent in Pathology will not be eligible.
Pay Scale : Rs.67700/- in Pay Level-11 of the Pay matrix as per 7thCPC plus NPA and other allowances as admissible.
Age limit : Maximum 45 years on the last date for submission of Application (Relaxable as per Govt. of India rules)

Safdarjung Hospital started as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it was made annexe to Irwin Hospital (Presently LNJP Hospital). It was taken over by the Central Government in 1954 and named as Safdarjung Hospital.
