Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform

What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines (MS/Ph.D. is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience in building and operating distributed backend systems in Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong design and architecture skills.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures background
- Model of software engineering best practices, including agile development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Experience with contributing to open source software and/or orchestration engines like Apache Airflow, and Apache Oozie is a plus.
