Job Description
Senior Software Engineer (SPA)
Primary Responsibility :
- Writes high quality code following modern best practices for both internal and external facing systems.
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Utilizes source control, continuous integration and unit testing practices.
- Debugs code issues and is able to provide impact assessments for changes, both within development and production environments..
- Participates in peer review of work products such as code, designs, and test plans produced by other team members..
- Assists other team members, serving as an 'expert' either in the business application, development technologies or Software Development Life-cycle processes (such as reviewing, designing and testing).
- Performs other duties as needed.
Skills/Experience :
- Hands on experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-tenant, enterprise systems.
- Strong experience in developing Single Page Application using KnockoutJS/AngularJS, BreezeJS , DurandalJS, RequireJS, JQuery, MVVM Pattern, .NET, MYSQL/MSSQQL.
- Experience with modern GUI abstraction patterns – MVC/MVVM.
- Experience in building .NET web apps and web API.
- Experience in integrating the Web API (or any REST API) with Single Page Application.
- Experience with HTML 5, JQuery and CSS3.
- Experience in JavaScript (Scripting for UI).
- Experience in integrating the Web API with the SPA.
- Experience in SVN and TFS or GIT will be preferable.
- Experience in developing Architecture standard documents and specification documents for the project.
- Minimum Requirement to attend the Interview:
Should be Familiar with all the following skills:
- KnockoutJS or any other similar JS library (E.g. AngularJS)
- NET Web App and Web API
- MYSQL/MSSQL
- JavaScript and JQuery
- Knowledge in using BreezeJS
- HTML 5 and CSS3
Educational Qualification:
- Preferable Degrees: B. E., B. Tech., MCA, M. Sc. (IT), M. Sc. (CS)
- Others Degrees: M. Sc., BCA, B. Sc.
