Job Description
JOB TITLE: Senior Survey Operations Support Analyst – Data QA & Processing
LOCATION: Pune, India
About This Role:
You will manage a dynamic group tasked to making sure that our survey data is accurate, our internal clients are receiving the data in a timely fashion, as well as in the format that is most suitable for their specific needs.
This role will utilize your analytical skills, your creativity, and exercise your technical skills. You will be performing exhaustive quality control checks using SQL, Excel & SPSS to ensure all survey data collected is 100% accurate; this will entail logic checks, consulting with senior members and cross-referencing survey questionnaires.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide support to Survey Operations team by ensuring data captured through online research is valid and reliable
- Provides complex SQL scripting for Data QA and Data transformation
- Create custom SQL scripts to QA survey algorithms
- Create automation scripting in SQL/Python to increase efficiencies
- Handle large and highly complex Data QA tasks and delivery tasks
- Ensure data writes to the correct data location.
- Manipulate, consolidate and import/export data files utilizing various software packages.
- Perform regular data quality control monitoring of live surveys and reports back the issues to Survey Ops team
- Create VB macros to automate and streamline manual data processing requests
- Manage multiple data quality requests simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of all required data deliveries to Survey Ops team
- Conduct questionnaire comparison checks with the programmed survey and reports the results
- Work on other data quality checks/data delivery assignments as outlined by the Manager
- Demonstrate a strong understanding/usage of confirmIT data processing module
- Use text editors and macros. E.g. TextPad, UltraEdit
- Concurrently handle several projects to accommodate deadlines
- Demonstrate impeccable organization skills and attention to detail
- Document and train the rest of the team on the best practices
What Would Be Great To Have:
- Knowledge of SQL, Excel and/or SPSS
- Experience in having worked independently on large data sets
- High level of proficiency with Confirmit software or similar survey programming tools
- Strong project management skills and exposure to project management tools and techniques
- Solid understanding of data in multiple formats and how data is processed
