Senior Technical Assistant  job opportunities in National Rainfed Area Authority

Filling up of three posts of Senior Technical Assistant (one in each area of Watershed Development, Water Management, Forestry in National Rainfed Area Authority.

National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) is an attached office of Department of Agriculture. Cooperation and Farmers Welfare. It is required to fill up three posts of Senior Technical Assistant, General Central Service, Group-B, Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial in the pay matrix Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400 on deputation/short term contract basis in the Authority.

The details of posts are as under:

I. Senior Technical Assistant (Water Management)

II. Senior Technical Assistant (Forestry)

III. Senior Technical Assistant (Watershed Development or Social Science or Economics) 

Eligibility conditions Deputation (including short-term contract) :  Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territory Service or Semi Government or Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies or Recognised Research Institutions or Council:  a (i) holding analogous posts in the parent cadre or department on regular basis, or (ii) with six years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level -5 Rs. 29200-92300 of Pa) Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or (iii) with ten )ears regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level - 4 Rs. 25500-81100 of Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department: and (b) (i) possessing the following educational qualification and experience, namely:-

Essential :  Graduate in Agriculture Science or Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering or Civil Engineering or Soil and Water Conservation or Water Resources or Hydrology or Forestry or Wild Life Science or Sociology or Economics from a recognised university:  (ii) Two years experience in relevant field of post of Senior Technical Assistant.

Desirable : i. Post graduate degree in concerned subject or discipline of the post.

Pay :   Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs.35400-112400

Age Limit :  56 years
