National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) invites application for the position Senior Technical Officer

Pay matrix: 56100-177500

Total emoluments including HRA as on date (approximate): 83000/=
a. Total emoluments means approximate total emoluments on pay in pay matrix including House Rent Allowance as admissible in class 'Y' City.

Post code & area: Pharmacognosy

Essential educational qualifications & experience: M.Sc. Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology with minimum of 55% marks or B. Pharm a with minimum of 55% marks, and two years working experience in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy/ Herbal drug development.

Desirable experience: Handling experience of HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MS for bioprospection, Chemotaxonomy and herbal drug development as evident from SCI publications/ patents

Job requirement:
(i) Field collection of medicinal plants, phytochemical analysis using analytical instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MS and selection of elite germplasm,
(ii) Preparation of extracts, quality control, herbal drug/ product development.

Age Limit: Upper age limit not exceeding (as on last date of receipt of application)35 years
