Job Description

Site discovery and documentation of existing network infrastructure
ï‚

Provide break and fix support for the network environment
ï‚

Follow established change management process
ï‚

Maintain inventory of the network equipment
ï‚

Maintain an audit ready environment;
ï‚

Provide 24x7 support for On Call coverage following rotation schedule as needed
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The major responsibilities of the network engineer include delivery,
documentation and support of the new network systems. These responsibilities include:
ï‚

Design, support and maintain Cisco and Palo Alto Firewall connectivity.
ï‚

Design, support and maintain F5 and Netscaler Load Balancer connectivity.
ï‚

Design, build, support and maintain all forms of VPN connectivity.
ï‚

Design, build, support and maintain IT security policies.
ï‚

Providing 3rd level technical support for complex problems in an operational
environment;
ï‚

Recommending alternative solutions, priorities, systems hardware/software, design
changes and improvements;
ï‚

Performing off-hours work to support customer changes;
ï‚

Managing problems to resolution using defined process flow;
ï‚

Implementing changes using defined change management protocol;
ï‚

Performing additional responsibilities as assigned;
ï‚

Configure network devices
ï‚

Device activation and implementation
ï‚

Network Performance Investigation
ï‚

Perform WAN and LAN troubleshooting
ï‚

Firewall and VPN troubleshooting
ï‚

Monitor network devices and circuits
ï‚

Provide circuit utilization reporting
ï‚

Hands on experience on SolarWinds tool
ï‚

Maintain CMDB Inventory in Service-Now

Technical Skills

ï‚

10+ years extensive experience / knowledge of R&S, Wireless, Optimization and in load
balancing worked in complex environment including various products, aware of SBM
and enterprise scenarios.
ï‚

Cisco routers, Switches, Riverbeds, F5 Load Balancer,
ï‚

Cisco wireless networks
ï‚

Experience with DMVPN and MPLS networks
ï‚

Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls
ï‚

Cisco CCNP/CCIE wireless/routing and switching a plus
ï‚

Experience with routing protocols specially EIGRP, OSPF, BGP

Non-technical Skills
