Job Description
Area of Operation & Location: All India/ Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Qualification: Bachelor of Science/ Diploma in electronic or bio medical electronics
Reports to: Vice President, Government Initiative
Experience: 2 to 4 years in the position of Customer Support/ Field Service Engineer in a Bio Medical Equipment
field preferably in ventilator & high flow nasal cannula
Key Responsibilities:
Purpose of the position:
Main purposes
ü Responsible for field services business
ü Develops the field services business according to budget
ü Provides technical support to company’s resellers
ü Operates the help desk
ü Support sales during the quotation stage
ü Updates records of installed base and propose actions according to product obsolescence or known quality problem
Secondary purposes
ü Improves customer satisfaction
ü Manages to commission equipment (also available on rent)
ü Ensures availability of spare parts stock according to maintenance contracts (central and regional)
ü Maintains a network of sub-contractors
ü Organizes the automatic customer software updates
ü Provides support for system installation & commissioning
ü From the help desk, records ensure delivery of customer service needs
Knowledge:
- Must have medical or critical care automation hands-on knowledge with regards to pre-sales, sales, installation/ commissioning, and post-sales
- Must be able to address board/ component level repair of biomedical equipment
- Must have knowledge of software, simulation software & other test/ repair an instrument that is handled by a customer support engineer
- Should be fluent in spoken and written English language
- Must be extremely comfortable with computers & day to day used office software i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tally, Zoho etc
- Must have fair commercial acumen i.e. should have knowledge upon tax/ duty structure in India and how it is applicable to medical/ critical care products/ services
