Introduction
At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The role is expected to work in engagements to understand client requirements and architect solutions to meet these using Servicenow and Servicenow SAM Pro following industry best practice and recommendations as detailed by the product vendor. Help to implement these solutions with architectural oversight and technical consultancy as necessary both to the implementation team and also the end client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- A technical understanding of ITAM and the ability to build solution architecture to deliver required outcomes using Servicenow as the Asset repository and also SAM Pro as the software license module.
- Deep understanding of integration points, data feeds, network requirements and tooling capabilities that enable the architecture of an ITAM structure that integrates into the overall account architecture and can produce all the key deliverables expected in an ITIL compliant asset solution
- Ability to read technical requirements and translate them into architectural deliverables
- Good working knowledge of Servicenow, its capabilities and its current to minus 2 releases
- Working knowledge of SAM and the capabilities and prerequisites within the SAM Pro module within Servicenow
- Experience of technical design and implementation of Servicenow solutions
- Configuration of Servicenow

- Servicenow certification preferable
