Job Description

Alarm monitoring Carry out isolation and restoration of supply in case of HT cable faults Issuing of Permit as per 4 3 1 Switchgear failures and other breakdowns in coordination with field staff in line to the approved SOP Standard Operations Procedure Report to and Assist the Shift-In-Charge for all the activities Work out optimal load transformer operations in case of planned outages and execution of same in co-ordination with field staff Monitor and carry out reactive power management/Online monitoring of HT Network in regards of load conditions voltage profile power factor and improvement changes etc/Providing Information related to contingencies to the respective Divisional Executives and concerned departments by telephone SMS and e-mails/Recording of all HT events in the HT Log sheet modified Network position precautionary measures/The record of the various activities carried out modified network position Instructions given by the SCADA In charge precautionary measures are to be handed over to the next shift in charge/Generate all MIS as per requirement.
