Ship Design Assistants (Mechanical)

No. of Posts  :  9 (4 UR, 2 OBC, 2 SC, 1 EWS)

Qualification  :  Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualifications in the case of Ex-servicemen.

Experience : Two years experience in a Shipyard / Engineering Company/Government / SemiGovernment Company /Establishment / Private Design Establishment/ Large Commercial Establishment with advanced proficiency in Tribon.

Ship Design Assistants (Electrical)

No. of Post  :  21 (14 UR, 3 OBC, 2 SC, 2 EWS)

Qualification  :  Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualifications in the case of Ex-servicemen

Experience :  Two years experience in a Shipyard / Engineering Company/Government / SemiGovernment Company /Establishment / Private Design Establishment/ Large Commercial Establishment with advanced proficiency in Tribon.  

Remuneration:

First year - Rs.24400/-

Second year - Rs.25100/-

Third year - Rs.25900/-

Age Limit :  The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall be 30 years as on 04 March 2020. The upper age is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Application Fee :  Rs. 200/- (Non refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 19 February 2020 to 04 March 2020. No other mode of payment shall be accepted. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Procedure :   a) The selection process comprises of two phases, Phase I, consisting of an Objective type Online test (50 marks) and Phase II, consisting of a Practical Test (30 marks). b) In Phase I, the question paper for Objective type Online test consists of two partsGeneral (Part A) and Discipline related (Part B). Part A comprises of General Knowledge, General English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
